If you are looking for a comprehensive, in-depth guide to investing, this isn’t it. However, if you are looking for a good, basic book about investing, Investing 101: A Beginner's Financial Guide for a Rich Life. The Basics on How to Make Money and Build a Wealthy Retirement. (Stocks, Bonds, Gold, Real Estate, Retirement, Assets, Wealth) by Erick Walk will get you started.
The book covers many of the terms and concepts regarding basic investing. You will not be an expert once you read it, but you just might have a better understanding of what others are talking about.
We give Investing 101 four out of five stars. There are a few places where a good proofreader would come in handy, but not many. If you are looking for something more in-depth, you should try Master Your Cash Flow or The Financial Briefing.
