Scanning Apps

It seems that almost everyone has a smart phone these days.  You can put your smart phone to work for you.

There are several apps out there that are free to download in both iPhone and Android.

Two of these apps are Shopkick and CheckPoints .

For the most part, these apps are easy to use.  During your regular shopping trip, you scan the barcodes of items on the list provided by the scanning app.

Each item you scan gives you points.  Once you accumulate enough points for that app, you can redeem it for gift cards for or PayPal cash.  It costs you nothing and you don’t have to make a special trip to the store.
