The Sign of the End of the Age What Jesus Taught about theFuture in Matthew 24 is an extremely well-written discussion of different
points of view regarding what the scriptures say about the end of times.
The author, Paul Kalbach, attempts to show scripture
references that support his understanding of what will take place at the end of
the world. He also makes sure to present
different views and backs those up with references from well-researched works.
We were given a copy of The Sign of the End of the Age so
that we could read it and write this review.
This is not a quick read, nor should a subject such as this
be addressed lightly. This is the kind
of book you should take one chapter at a time and read your favorite
translation of The Holy Bible along with it.
If you are interested at all in understanding the scriptures
and what they tell us about the end of times, this book should definitely be a
part of your overall readings.
You may want to consider donating a copy of this book to
your church library and gifting copies to your favorite Bible student.
We give it all five stars.
It is well-written. It is
well-researched. It tackles a very
difficult subject and helps lay people understand a little better what the
scriptures say about this topic.
One does not have to be a theologian to understand The Sign
of the End of the Age. We can imagine
that churches would like to have a scripture class that takes one chapter per
week and discusses that chapter. There are twenty-six chapters, so a church
could have classes meet every week and each week really dive into the
scriptures for six months.
