Many of us would like to invest in stocks, if we just knew how to go about it. We are often presented with a world of different ideas and theories about how to time the market.
Stocks for the Long Run gives us some historical data and helps us to see what would have happened if we had used prevailing wisdom at the time to attempt to time the market.
This book does not tell you the one best way to invest, because there is none. It simply presents the different beliefs and presents the historical data to show us how the trends and prevailing wisdom, at that time, would have worked regarding our investment.
We give Stocks for the Long Run all five stars. It is very well-written and impeccably well-researched. We think anyone who is a wannabee investor should read this.
